Job Developer

Position Summary

The Job Developer builds and maintains partnerships with employers to secure job and apprenticeship opportunities that align with the career goals and skills of PACE program participants. This role requires active collaboration with Career Advisors and Employment Support Specialists to ensure successful placements and long-term retention. The Job Developer is also responsible for tracking employer feedback, leading recruitment events, and identifying career advancement pathways for clients. This position is ideal for individuals with workforce development and recruitment experience who are passionate about connecting at-risk populations with sustainable employment opportunities.

 

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain employer partnerships across key industry sectors.Source and record job and apprenticeship opportunities in alignment with client interests.Lead recruitment efforts, job fairs, and marketing campaigns to boost employer engagement.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless placement, re-engagement, and retention.Track client placement, advancement, and wage progression to meet performance goals.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Employer Engagement & Job Development

Establish and maintain a minimum of 30 active employer partnerships annually in assigned sectors.Consistently generate at least 50 new job orders per quarter aligned with sector interests.Record and update 100% of job orders and apprenticeship listings in Fedcap CARES within 24 hours.

Client Placement & Retention

Achieve an 85% job placement rate for training graduates within 90 days of program completion.Ensure 75% of clients referred through HRA Business Link secure placements within 60 days.Please provide employer interview feedback to clients within 48 hours to help them prepare and succeed.Collaborate with Career Advisors and Employment Support Specialists to re-engage 90% of clients who separate from employment within 30 days.

Marketing & Recruitment Events

Facilitate monthly recruitment info sessions and workshops with at least 20 client participants per session.Coordinate a minimum of 4 in-house job fairs or major recruitment events annually, attracting at least 50 employers and 200 client attendees.Partner with the Employment Services Supervisor to launch quarterly employer-facing marketing campaigns and measure resulting engagement.

Tracking & Advancement

Track all employer and client interactions in Fedcap CARES and SEAMS with 100% accuracy.Identify advancement opportunities and support client wage progression with a target of a 10% annual increase in key sectors.Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring alignment with contractual targets and performance standards.

 

You’re a Great Fit for This Role If You Have

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 1 year’s experience in recruitment, job placement, or workforce development within a nonprofit or similar environment.Experience in workshop facilitation or client training preferred.Prior work with public assistance recipients, homeless individuals, justice-involved people, or others facing employment barriers preferred.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

 

Compensation

$55,000 annually/$26.44 hourly
