**Position: General Ledger Specialist** **Location:** Amherst, NY **&** Brooklyn, OH **Duration :9+ months** **Pay Rate: $23/hr on W2** **We are looking for a** **General Ledger Specialist** **to join one of our Fortune 500 Banking clients.** **Position Summary** The **Lead Specialist** supports commercial clients through phone and written requests, processes monetary transactions, and performs loan maintenance. This role focuses on customer service and ensuring smooth operations in commercial loan servicing. **Key Responsibilities** + **Transaction Processing** : Handle monetary transactions, fund loans, and manage account discrepancies. + **System Maintenance** : Update accounts, set up ticklers, and process changes to account details. + **Issue Resolution** : Research and resolve issues, communicate resolutions to clients, and escalate complex problems as needed. + **Reporting & Documentation** : Review reports, ensure system accuracy, and maintain documentation standards. + **Collaboration** : Work with teams to correct discrepancies and improve workflows. **Qualifications** + **Education** : High School Diploma required; Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting preferred. + **Experience** : 2+ years in commercial loan servicing; knowledge of CLS/CL3 and LoanIQ systems. + **Skills** : + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. + Familiarity with accounting principles and banking regulations. + Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to handle customer service issues independently. **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship** .
