You will be supporting the El Segundo Data Analytics (ESDA) team where you will work with El Segundo management, Integrated Product Teams, and Operations. ESDA maintains a suite of analytics tools created for the Satellite Systems team at the El Segundo site. ESDA supports customers in manufacturing operations, finance, supply chain, engineering, and quality. In this role you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing technical products for new customer requests.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, web applications, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectivesCombines programming, SQL skills, best practices, and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomesAnalyzes business domain knowledge, performs requirements analysis, and develops business domain process models Analyzes for improvements, develops investment decisions, designs and performs product verification & validationDiscovers new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinkingThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 3 years of SQL development experienceMore than 3 years of experience using a data visualization tool to build reports and/or dashboards (such as Cognos, Tableau, or Microsoft PowerBI)More than 3 years of experience in Python (or other similar scripting language)Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js)Experience with database design and data modelingExperience integrating different tools, models, and/or databases to automate data sharingPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with ETL tools.Experience with Microsoft Project.Experience with VBA.Experience working in supplier management, material management, manufacturing, quality, engineering, production operations or industrial engineering.Experience with version control tools such as Git.Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
