Our Account Managers are responsible for managing sales and building relationships with our Customers by prospecting new revenue opportunities within their territory and managing their existing accounts for maximum profitability. Everything we offer our Customers is centered around three goals: patient safety, making full use of the department’s limited budgets, and extending the lifetime of their equipment and instrumentation.
There are not many companies that do what we do, so we make it a priority to continuously develop and train our sales force. STERIS IMS has several resources for our Account Managers to set them up for success and continued development along their careers. This includes on-the-job training, a dedicated training department, and local product managers.
The Account Manager has responsibilities to manage sales and Customer activities in his/her assigned territory. This individual is expected to achieve a maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within assigned territory by managing existing accounts and prospecting revenue opportunities.
This is a remote based customer facing position. To support and service our customers in the assigned territory candidates must be based out of the following state: Nevada
What You Will Do Maximize sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within your assigned territory Identify and close new business opportunities Plan sales activities such as education trainings, inventory evaluations and maintenance inspections Resolve all Customer service issues in an effective, timely manner Document Customer activities, purchase orders, etc. within STERIS IMS CRM Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with Customers and senior managers What You Will Need to be Successful Bachelor’s Degree 3-7 years of sales experience, including a proven track record of achieving sales goals Medical device/Service sales/B2B desirable preferred Industry certifications preferred (IAHCSMM, AORN, CCSVP, SGNA). Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Solid system skills (Microsoft Office, Sales/Customer tracking software packages) Intermediate in Microsoft Office suite, experienced user of CRM to manage sales pipeline and activities Must be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.#LI-TL1

Pay range for this opportunity is $58,250.00 - $81,637.50.This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
