About the Role:
As a Process, Methods & Tools Engineer, you'll develop and deploy engineering processes and methods, ensuring continuous improvement. You'll use your experience to align our processes with global standards like ASPICE, IATF 16949, and ISO 26262. Plus, you'll coach our project teams and take the role as Development Process Engineer in our projects.
What You'll Do:
+ Drive global ASPICE-compliant product development using our Engineering Development Framework (EDF) and tools.
+ Develop engineering processes that comply with industry standards.
+ Collaborate with global engineering teams to share best practices.
+ Analyze process deployments, identify improvement opportunities, and develop solutions to meet quality goals.
+ Create metrics to monitor process and tool effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
+ Develop training materials and share knowledge about our processes, roles, and responsibilities.
+ Work with other functions to align EDF process interfaces with non-engineering systems.
+ Partner with the Quality organization to address compliance issues and implement solutions.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, though a Master's degree is preferred. You should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Software- or Systems Engineering, preferably within the automotive industry, and extensive experience in process development, deployment, and team coaching. Demonstrated competency in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering and Software Quality Assurance is essential. Preferably you have good understanding of ASPICE-based systems development methodology and knowledge of software development processes. The ability to work effectively across functional and geographic boundaries is crucial since you will work with teams from all over the world. Preferred qualifications include knowledge in requirements definition, change management, problem resolution, and verification techniques. Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Swedish are necessary.
One of the key elements of this role will be the ability to observe and gather information to create a cohesive strategy, implement processes effectively and to support teams to ensure that all processes are implemented and followed. As such we feel that the right candidate will demonstrate proven leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Polarion, SharePoint, PowerBI, and a background in 6 Sigma is a plus.
The role is a hybrid role with the ability to work from home two days a week with three days a week in the office.
