Join Us for A Day in the Life of an Interventional Procedures Technologist

All interested in healthcare are invited to hear about a day in the life as an Interventional Procedures Technologist at Endeavor Health. Learn about patient care from the unique perspective of a Radiology Tech and connect with others interested in healthcare.

Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Location: Virtual Event.

What does an Interventional Procedures Technologist do?

Responsible for radiation safety and protection of all team members during and after a procedure

Cross train to assist the physician to perform IR and/or Cath procedure (scrub in the case); record/monitor the procedure; or circulate the procedure.

Maintain equipment used during the procedure

Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures

Assist in supply management and restocking of supplies in IR/Cath labs

What qualifications you will need to work as an Interventional Procedures Tech

License: IEMA & ARRT

Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program 

Certification: CPR/ BLS Certification required

Skills: Excellent intercommunication and computer skills
