KBR is seeking a Joint Model Based Systems Engineering Expert to support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center’s (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Reston, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

The qualified applicant will support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center’s (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Reston, VA with anticipated travel in support of the SWAC’s priorities. The Joint Model Based Systems Engineering Expert applicant will work closely with the SWAC program offices, Department of the Air Force Headquarters, and the Joint Staff to model joint operational scenarios, missions, and interdependencies at all classification levels.The qualified candidate will support SWAC Force Design through Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and analysis practices. Support SWAC modeling and analysis efforts through application of MBSE, to include Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)Interface with DAF, Joint Staff, and other DoD organizations to incorporate joint models and concepts into SWAC modeling effortsCapture joint operational scenarios, missions, and interdependencies in SysML and/or UAF using Cameo Systems Modeler (Cameo)Translate simulation instantiations and outputs into dynamic SysML and/or UAF models using CameoCommunicate complex operational concepts through SysML and/or UAF models using CameoSupport mission- and enterprise-level analysis within the SWAC Force Design teams and Integration LayerAssist in the maintenance and standardization of a SWAC Digital Engineering LibraryDocument SWAC MBSE and Digital Engineering analysis processes and toolsTranslate complex technical information into products that communicate to non-subject matter expertsDevelop and prepare correspondence and other documentation (formal letters, position papers, reports)

Required Qualifications:

An active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility is requiredWorking effectively in a cross-country, multi-disciplinary team environmentSTEM Bachelor's DegreeUnderstanding complex technical issues and produce recommendations for a wide audienceApplying critical thinking in complex and dynamic organizational environmentsAbility to quickly create decision quality materials for senior leadersHaving strong communication skills (technical writing, developing presentations, etc.)

STEM Master’s Degree desired10+ years Model-Based Systems Engineering and Systems Modeling Language/Unified Architecture Framework experience7+ years Joint Operational Planning / Joint integration experience (desired)3+ years space operations or space acquisition experience (desired)Experience with DoD, IC, and Commercial Satellite systems in SCI/SAP environmentCurrent Polygraph preferred
