We are seeking highly experienced Joint Terminial Attack Controller (JTAC) to support the 505th CTS at Hurlburt Field FL and Ft Leavenworth KS, in its mission to deliver joint theater environments and world class scenario generation and exercise control for operational C2 warfighter training.

Responsibilities The Joint Terminial Attack Controller (JTAC) SME must have extensive knowledge of Theater Air Control System (TACS)/Army Air-Ground System (AAGS), Marine Corps Air Command and Control System (MACCS), Navy Tactical Air Control System (NTACS), and Special Operations Command and Control of air to ground support functions. SME will provide effective replicated air control for all counterland operations, particularly Close Air Support (CAS). Assist planners on synchronizing CAS in time, space, and purpose with supported maneuver forces, increasing the effectiveness of exercise or test execution to meet event objectives. The SME will build and modify the integration of direct and indirect fires (surface to surface) with CAS precision and non-precision weapons IAW current doctrine and relevant TTPs. The SME will coordinate with AOC RC/White Force personnel on the capabilities, limitations, and employment of FW/RW CAS and Strike assets to meet event objectives and limitations. Coordinate and assist AOC RC/White Force personnel with CAS weapon’s capabilities, limitations, and employment SME shall assist in capturing the integration of joint air operations CAS mission into the operation order (OPORD), air tasking order (ATO), airspace control order (ACO), and SPINS. SME will build and modify the CAS component input into the BDA process to help meet and inform event objectives. Assist in the development of a complete mission report (MISREP). Identify and resolve conflicts of weather, terrain, and threats when employing CAS assets. Assist with the air, space, and cyber “fly out” replication cells by providing communication exchanges with the training audiences i.e. (ASOS, ASOC, etc.) Qualifications Minimum 5 years military operational and training experience. Three years Knowledge of ACO, ACM, ATO and SPINS. Knowledge of ATO planning cycle and its effects on JTAR submission.  Three years In-depth knowledge of TBMCS planning and execution applications with emphasis on C2PC, JADOCS, ESTAT and mIRC; or NATO equivalent tools for operational mission monitoring, assessment and coordination. Experience with IBM PC/Client hardware, Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems, FALCON VIEW, IWS, SharePoint, and TBMCS software.  Highly desired: Experience as an exercise designer/planner/director. Experience required. Operational knowledge/experience as JTAC planner to role play position during operational level exercises or real-world deployments in the last 5 years. (M) AFFOR, MAJCOM Staff experience desired.  Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred  Ability to use Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro required Current DoD Security Clearance Required
