Team Overview and Job responsibilities

The main activities of my team are:

Unify and harmonize the Jointing Procedures.Unify and harmonize the Jointing Tools.Support the development of new tools required for the Jointing activities.Set up and manage a system to unify and harmonize the Jointing Certification processes.Cooperate with the R&D Training School to train and qualify the Jointing Resources needed by all the affiliates to comply with the Projects acquired.Constantly support the spread of the Jointing Standards within the HV functions of Prysmian affiliates, by actively promoting exchange of technical information, experiences, good practices.Make periodical visits to jointing and land installation sites of Prysmian affiliates to monitor the spread of the Company Standards across the Group.

Who are we looking for?

We are searching for a jointing standard engineer who supports the setting up of a system built to verify, harmonize and control the Jointing installation process in the execution of the projects in terms of procedures, software and tools within the installation department.

In particular, the main activities are:

Creation and implementation of procedures for LinkUp application.Development and implementation of LinkUp for installation groups outside the Powerlink perimeter.Assistance and control in the use of the LinkUp application in the Powerlink installation sites.Assistance in the creation of PPL projects in SAP environment mainly focused on German Corridors project.Assistance in the implementation of other procedures (scale up) for VR&AR project.Assistance to jointers/supervisors in the use of the VR&AR system at installation sites and laboratories.

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering (preferred), Economics or Scientific disciplines or equivalent school level.Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.Professional understanding of templates, macros, and styles.Advanced knowledge of drawing software like Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor.Basic knowledge of SAP data base.Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.

Soft skills

Good interpersonal and leadership skills.Self-motivated, quick and assertive.Time management/Result oriented.Good writing and communication skills.Calm, pro-active and collaborative.

Minimum Experience

1 to 3 years working experience in a medium-large worldwide organization.
