**Description:**
**Financial Accountability**
+ Oversee food requisitioning, preparation, and waste control in all kitchen sections to maintain appropriate food costs.
+ Maximize colleague productivity to minimize payroll expenses.
**Conditions of Work**
+ Responsible for managing various kitchen sections, including vegetable garnish, meat station, cold appetizers, pastry, and more.
+ Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and assist with private event operations as needed.
+ Capable of multitasking efficiently and working under pressure.
+ Occasionally required to perform heavy lifting while on duty.
**Role Overview**
+ Oversee culinary operations across different kitchen sections.
+ Ensure the smooth functioning of kitchen areas, maintaining Alila Jabal Akhdar F&B Culinary standards.
+ Supervise and participate in daily food preparation as per business requirements.
+ Maintain efficient workflow in adherence to the Sequence of Service and relevant SOPs in the F&B standards manual.
+ Flexibility to work any shift as per operational needs.
**Communication**
+ **Internal:** Daily interaction with Chef de Partie, Demi-Chef de Partie, and Commis within respective kitchen sections. Collaboration with kitchen management and outlet staff.
+ **External:** Interaction with food suppliers and in-house guests as required.
**Main Duties**
+ Report to duty punctually.
+ Ensure daily ingredient preparation for menu items within the kitchen sections.
+ Directly manage food production and monitor waste management.
+ Assign and oversee food preparation tasks within team sections.
+ Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
+ Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
+ Address customer needs and requests within acceptable timeframes.
+ Continuously seek opportunities to enhance service quality.
+ Support team members to achieve work goals and foster a respectful, collaborative work environment.
+ Communicate professionally and politely with colleagues.
+ Maintain high personal grooming standards in line with Alila Jabal Akhdar F&B Culinary expectations.
+ Seek support from supervisors and managers when needed.
+ Strive to exceed customer expectations.
+ Possess a thorough understanding of the brand concept, history, and vision.
+ Complete basic food hygiene training and uphold hygiene standards, including proper labeling and FIFO practices.
+ Ensure all cleaning schedules and side duties are completed as per daily checklists.
+ Complete daily, weekly, and monthly kitchen checklists.
+ Attend mandatory training sessions and proactively pursue career development.
+ Communicate issues to management promptly.
+ Engage positively with team members.
**Administration**
+ Review the notice board and outlet briefing sheets daily to stay informed of Alila Jabal Akhdar F&B Culinary events, local information, rosters, sold-out items, daily specials, and other relevant updates.
