Learn more at https://skilled.peopleready.com/referral/ . **Responsibilities:** + Inspect and assess surfaces to be painted + Remove old paint or finishes using scrapers, chemical compounds, or other methods + Fill holes, cracks, and imperfections with putty or plaster + Sand surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish + Clean and prep surfaces by washing, removing debris, and applying primers or sealers + Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Mix and match paint colors and finishes according to job specifications + Apply multiple coats of paint as needed to achieve desired coverage and finish + Use masking tape, drop cloths, and other protective coverings to prevent paint from damaging surrounding surfaces + Work at heights off of scaffolds, ladders, lifts, etc **Qualifications:** + E-Verify: Eligible to work in the U.S. + Minimum 5 years of experience on commercial and/or residential construction sites required + In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area + Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your job site + OSHA 10 and/or 30 is a plus TrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
