Essential Duties Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of heavy-duty equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a timely and efficient manner.Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.Technical Analysis: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or upgrades to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used, ensuring a thorough and organized documentation process.Training & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy duty equipment maintenance and repairRed Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) requiredStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.Working Conditions
Location: This position is located at Hoyle Pond site, part of Newmont's Porcupine Mine Site near Timmins, ON.
Schedule: Work a 5x5x4 schedule. As such, if you do not live near the site, we will require you to relocate.
