DEPARTMENT: Maintenance & Operations HOURS OF WORK: 4/10s, Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm LOCATION: 3640 E Tudor Road Example of Duties Perform all necessary plumbing and heating tasks associated with Facility Maintenance in facilities, pools, and parks throughout the Municipality, including troubleshooting and repairing fixtures, irrigation systems, swimming pools, boilers, gas supply, water supply, and drain systems. Also includes maintaining HVAC systems to include monitoring, calibrating and repairing of controls on electronic, pneumatic, and computerized systems. Perform other required duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and five (5) years of journeyman plumber experience which may include a combination of experience and completion of an apprenticeship or training program in plumbing sufficient to equal five years experience. Must possess and/or obtain: + State of Alaska Department of Labor Certificate of Fitness. + Municipality of Anchorage Plumbing License. + Valid State of Alaska Driver's License and satisfactory driving record. + Satisfactory background check which includes criminal, education, and employment history. + Satisfactory Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check.
