Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking Red Seal Journeyman Electrician to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary, AB

The Journeyman Electrician will oversee the maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation/dismantling of electrical systems across our construction projects.

The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required.  Uniforms, PPE are supplied.

Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in new and existing construction projects. Install conduits and wiring through walls, floors and ceilings. Installing and terminating electrical equipment and fixtures Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meets the requirements of the appropriate codes Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing device Training and mentoring apprentice electricians Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Strong commercial experience in construction Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to read drawings and schematics Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety Willing to travel
