**Journeyman Electrician - Detroit, MI**
**Job Description**
Candidates will be assigned to factory zero. They will be expected to perform service work and repairs on facility equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and make necessary repairs. Work will be conducted on rooftops and within the facility, requiring climbing ladders and using lifts. The position offers 40 hours per week with openings across three shifts: 1st shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM), 2nd shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM), and 3rd shift (10 PM - 6:30 AM).
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
+ Anticipate and respond to customer needs.
+ Inspect assigned areas on a routine basis and perform maintenance to keep the facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
+ Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
+ Repair and maintain plumbing, including replacing defective washers, mending broken pipes, and unclogging drains.
+ Report any major maintenance needs and recommend corrective actions as appropriate.
+ Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Journeyman Electrician experience (must be a card-carrying Journeyman).
+ Experience with troubleshooting, installations, and making repairs.
+ Ability to program PLCs, VFDs, and other controls hardware.
+ Proficiency in using specialized tools and instruments to troubleshoot, repair, and program electrical equipment.
+ Working knowledge of the NEC code and NFPA 70E, including its interpretation and implementation.
+ Ability to troubleshoot control systems throughout the plant and make necessary repairs.
+ Journeyman Electrician State Certification and successful completion of a formal four-year apprenticeship.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $36.29 - $36.29/hr.
