Our client, a trusted electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their team in Oxnard, CA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with NEC and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure all work meets NEC and local regulations.Perform wiring, conduit bending, panel installations, and lighting system maintenance.Work collaboratively with apprentices and other team members.Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades.

Requirements:

Valid California Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent experience).Minimum 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience.Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.Experience with commercial and industrial electrical work (residential experience considered).Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and hand/power tools.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Industrial electrical experience is a plus.Ability to lead and train apprentices.OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $25 - $35/hr (based on experience)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
