This is a full-time, Non- Exempt position based at 1388 Highway 97 Velva, ND.
Hours per week: 40 hrs. Average
Starting Pay: Based on experience
Duration: Full time
Hours: Day shift (7a-3:30p), Mon-Fri
Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems and process control devicesTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systemsDiagnose and propose repair solutions for electrical power, electrical control, and process control equipmentAssist in the planning, budgeting, and implementation of electrically related facility projectsOperate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power toolsMaintaining and ordering spare parts as neededPerforming PM during plant outages or as requiredJob Requirements:High school education or equivalentCurrent ND Journeyman Electrician License is required and it must be maintainedCommitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a world class safety culture; understand and follow company safety proceduresDevelop and maintain proper use, care, and safety skills of all hand, power, welding, and any other tools necessary for use in the course of this jobExhibit consistent and prompt attendanceCandidates are required to successfully complete a maintenance test consisting of technical aptitude, ability, and work habitsAble to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, wearing a respiratorWilling to work weekends and holidays, on-call and overtime as neededDemonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when neededExhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitudeBasic knowledge of process sensors/transmittersBasic Knowledge of electrical safety devices (breakers, fuses, etc.)Electrical troubleshooting and repair skillsStrong working knowledge of electrical work practices and guidelines to include those outlined by the National Electrical Code (NEC)Willing and able to take formal trade school courses as selected by ADM management and take such courses on a continuing basisExcited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
