Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to support plant operations effectively.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and system updates.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and company safety policies.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and be available for on-call duties when required.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and tech
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical training in electrical systems is a plus.
Valid Journeyman Electrician license in Texas.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or plant electrician role.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights as needed.
Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
Expertise in electrical systems, including motors, controls, and PLCs.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
