We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Logistics Manager for the EPASS Cyber and Networks Directorate (EPASS HN II) contract, supporting the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division,which is located at Lackland AFB, TX. LOCATION: Joint Base San Antonio, TX JOB STATUS: Full Time; salaried TRAVEL: Approximately 5% travel may be required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field Years of Experience: At least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD. Four additional years of directly related experience with proper certifications may substitute for Bachelor’s degree. Current Required Security Clearance: DoD Secret clearance DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Capable of identifying critical logistics requirements (e.g., funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services) needed to support the assigned effort. Proficient Microsoft office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). Familiarity with defense acquisition management in accordance with the DoD 5000. Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis Familiarity with the logistics integrated product support model outlined in the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook. Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Capable of leading and completing complex projects.
