Job Summary

Our company values and recognizes the diversity of the workforce and is looking for a future team member with a minimum of five years’ experience providing maintenance support in a fast-paced manufacturing and processing environment. The successful candidate must be mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting processing equipment in a fast-paced environment, be a safety-conscious team player and able to work a rotating shift schedule and overtime.

As a Journeyman Machine Repairperson for the Maintenance team at Windsor Salt’s Windsor Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario, this person will be responsible for:

Maintaining stationary and mobile industrial machinery and equipment Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues Completing preventative maintenance requirements in a timely manner Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, along with detailed and accurate maintenance reports Contributing to the maintenance team by accomplishing other duties as assigned

In addition, this individual will have:

Class A Mechanic, Millwright, Machinist or Machine Repair Certification Welding certification or experience would be considered an asset
