Journeyman Plumber

The primary responsibilities include performing routine maintenance on plumbing systems and assisting the Master Plumber with the installation of new plumbing systems at various properties. Job Type : Full-Time Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (subject to overtime) Compensation : $25.00-30.00 per hour, based on experience, plus per diem allowance and monthly cell phone reimbursement ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : + Install, repair, or replace residential and commercial water systems . + Service plumbing fixtures and equipment . + Installation of plumbing fixtures and equipment . + Keep up to date with current safely regulations and requirements for plumbing . + Maintain a clean and safe work environment . + Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS : + High School Diploma or equivalent . + Valid Kentucky Journeyman Plumbing License . + 5 to 10 years of experience in the plumbing field . + Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques . + Knowledge of plumbing codes . + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material . + Ability to diagnose and resolve problems . + Must be self motivated. + Understanding of health and safety regulations and the proper methods of storing equipment, material, and supplies. + Ability to communicate and report effectively. + Must have valid driver’s license. + In state travel required. + Must pass all pre-employment testing including but not limited to drug testing and background screening. There is some possibility of moderate injury. + Occasionally must work in very bright or very dim lighting conditions. + May work physically near others.
