Fred Welsh Ltd. team in conjunction with Trotter & Morton Ltd. (FWL-TM) is looking for motivated Journeyperson Plumbers and Apprentice Plumbers to join our team full time in Duncan, British Columbia. The Journeyperson Plumbers and Apprentice Plumbers will work full time on the Cowichan Hospital Redevelopment project site in Duncan British Columbia.

Roles and Responsibilities
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Assist with material handling Maintain clean working area at all times, perform housekeeping duties on site
Required Skills
Mechanical Aptitude Strong verbal and written communication skills Competent use of hand and power tools Ability to follow directions Ability to work with others as part of a team
Required Experience
High School Graduate or equivalent Applicable apprentice schooling and hours; Journeyman ticket if Journeyman Experience in commercial construction is an asset
