**Job Title: Machine Technician - All Shifts - Starting at $37/hr!** **Job Description** The Machine Technician will be responsible for performing repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and systems. The role involves troubleshooting various systems and maintaining automated equipment in an industrial setting. **Responsibilities** + Perform industrial electrical work including troubleshooting from wiring diagrams and blueprints. + Install electrical components such as conduits and outlets. + Troubleshoot electrical mechanical motor controls and hydraulic circuits. + Maintain and repair mechanical drive systems including gears, sprockets, chains, belts, bearings, and rollers. + Perform general fabrication tasks such as welding, torching, machining, piping, and threading. + Assist in advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair throughout the plant. + Maintain accurate preventative maintenance records. + Provide daily maintenance support for automated equipment. + Complete work based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience in a relevant field. + Experience in automotive or plastics manufacturing. + Journeyman's card or an associate degree/certification. + General electric knowledge. + Experience troubleshooting hydraulic circuits. + Experience troubleshooting mechanical drive systems. + Experience troubleshooting mechanical motor controls. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Repair and preventive maintenance skills. + Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. + Ability to troubleshoot presses, conveyors, and injection molding machines. + Proficiency with hand tools and blueprint reading. **Why Work Here?** This is a direct hire position offering a tool allowance and company-provided uniforms. Technicians receive a $350 tool allowance in their first year and $500 in subsequent years. **Work Environment** This role operates in a non-climate-controlled environment. Monday through Friday. Currently, the team is working on Saturdays due to high demand. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Oregon, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $77209.00 This is a direct hire position with a union company. Company provides uniforms and tool allowance.
