What you will do:
Maintain, repair and overhaul a variety of Heavy Duty equipment and variety of light duty vehicle fleet
Inspect equipment, interpret drawings, troubleshoot and repair equipment
Operate equipment for testing and test for performance using gauges and testing equipment
Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place
Participate in safety meetings and inspections, and follow standard operating procedures
What you will bring:
A valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincal Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as a a Heavy Duty Mechanic
Automotive technician experience an asset
Positive safety behavior and a safety mindset
Ability to work independently, safely, and effectively in a labour intensive team environment
Stable work record
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
Willingness to learn and gain required knowledge and experience through training
