**Journeyperson Industrial Electrician, Belledune, NB** Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as **Industrial Electrician** in Belledune (NB) **What You’ll Do** + Perform all electrical repairand improvement projects throughout the entire mill site. + Read, write, and understandelectrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints. + Perform routine preventative maintenance duties. + Troubleshoot, maintain andrepair all Programmable Logic Controller (P.L.C.) controls, A.C inverters,or any other control systems throughout the mill site. + Adhere to an absolute lock-outpolicy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out,and tested to ensure isolation. + Effectively manage and planwork to accomplish job tasks with minimal direct supervision. + Submit work requests. + Fill out completed work orderslisting work done, parts used, and time taken to complete the job. + Carry out any other tasks in any field as requested by the supervisor. **What You Offer** + 2+ years of experience inelectronics or related field. + Ability to work from extendedelevations using all established safety procedures and guidelines. + Capable of communicatingeffectively and professionally with all plant personnel. + Ability to train others inareas of electrical or mechanical systems to perform any routinepreventative maintenance schedules. + Ability to obtain the skills tobe able to run any piece of equipment so that test runs can be performedfor each machine on which repairs are made. + Ability to acquire necessaryskills to effectively perform any maintenance duties required anywhere onthe mill site. + Able to work flexible scheduleswhich could include weekends, holidays, and call-in duties. + Bilingualismwould be an asset + Demonstrated self-starter andability to proactively find work to do. **Additionalinformation** + Work schedule: Rotation 2 - 2 - 3 + Group insurance + Pension plan with employer contribution + Employees and family assistance plan + Retention bonus + Personal protective equipment provided by the company + One (1) safety boots allowance per year + Prescription safety glasses program + Relocation assistance **Who We Are** Interfor is a growth-oriented forest products company, operating in all major forest products markets across North America.
