Job Description:

We’re looking for a Jr APS Summarizer to join our NUC - Manulife Singapore - New Business team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to Review, analyzes and summarizes Attending Physician Statements (APS) that range from several pages to hundred of pages.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a reliable APS Summary source to Singapore Underwriters by summarizing APS that range from several pages to hundreds of pages, using a pre-scripted template formatInterpret Diagnostic tests including laboratory findings, pathology reports, EKG/ETT/ cardiac diagnostic studies, etc as they relate to medical impairmentsProvide high level of service, accuracy of not lower than 99%, TAT of 100% for a minimum of at least 300 pages dailyMaintains integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of client’s records

Qualifications:

College or University graduate of any medical coursePrefer Strong knowledge of medical conditions, diagnostics, treatments, terminology and medicationsClinical and medical background is a must.Good understanding of medical terminologies, impairments, patterns and risksGood understanding of non-medical information (lifestyle)Ability to extract significant medical and non-medical informationAnalytical and critical thinking abilityStrong attention to detailsAbility to read difficult handwritingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to express ideas clearly and concisely – both oral and writtenWilling to work on Saturdays or Holidays whenever a business need calls for
