Job Description:

We’re looking for a Jr. Contract Analyst to join our Procurement Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible for reviewing existing/proposed new contracts as part of an overall Vendor Risk Assessment Process to determine whether the contract meets Manulife’s standards and requirements for Information Security.  Performing an accurate assessment of a contract requires a fair amount of detailed preparation

Key Responsibilities:

Build, implement and maintain the legal contract database for the Company’s U.S. and international operations.Coordinate resolution of residual contract issues following contract execution including documentation of risk issues associated with clauses that may not have met Manulife’s standards despite the best efforts of negotiations.May lead other special projects for the Company in areas of experience and expertise.Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of Contracts Administration, Legal and/or Technical (i.e. Information Technology) background/experienceBachelor's Degree holders are welcome to applyOpen to Hybrid setupWilling to work on night shift

Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:

Interpretation, drafting, and negotiation of contract terms and conditions.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization (internally and externally).Ability to successfully handle a fast-paced work environment.Strong attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Results oriented; working collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing business environment.Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookLet's make every day better together.
