Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets, has the following position available. The Associate Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing support services to the North American Logistics group in Supply Chain.
What You Will Do:
· Manage and support daily expedite requests for an assigned geographic region, scheduling shipments, carrier sourcing/utilization and optimization functions
· Utilize TMS-Transportation Management Software to rate, schedule, and route shipments
· Monitor expedite shipments and requests to identify actions required to improve or optimize related processes
· Communicate effectively via phone and e-mail to provide order status, product and availability information and to resolve transportation and inventory issues with internal and external customers
· Maintain effective track and trace process with in-transit shipments
· Effectively communicate and resolve delay scenarios with internal and external customers
· Maintain timing and accuracy of daily expedite order cutoffs and ensure it is executed consistently with warehouse workflow timing needs met
· Effective cost management per contractual and/or budgetary guidelines
· Work as a part of a team effectively, which includes but is not limited to effective communication and provide coverage in the absence of teammates
· Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma, or equivalent
· 2+ years of professional work experience, preferably within logistics and/or transportation operations environments
· Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Access, or the ability to be trained
Preferred Qualifications:
· BA/BS in Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain Management
· Work experience in transportation related position and/or in a logistics environment
· 2+ years of experience in transportation related position
· 2+ years of analyzing experience with spreadsheet or database applications
· Ability to adapt to constant change and multi task
· Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities and to establish priorities
· Strong analytical skills
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
