Job Title: Jr Manual Firmware Tester
Job Description

We are looking for an entry-level candidate to join a long-term project team with us onsite with our customer in Raleigh, NC. This is a long-term role and will come with PTO, Paid Holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a great opportunity to take your technical Associate’s degree and gain some real-world experience in a high-tech environment.

ResponsibilitiesExecute test cases to ensure data accuracy, connectivity, and functionality.Identify and report firmware update issues, software bugs, and VPN connectivity problems.Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements.Perform basic networking and programming tasks to support testing activities.Document test results and create detailed reports on findings.Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.Ensure that testing activities are conducted in accordance with the testing strategy and plan.Essential SkillsBasic understanding of networking and programming concepts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering).Experience with testing tools and software.Knowledge of VPNs, firmware updates, and software troubleshooting is a plus.Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash).Understanding of network protocols and connectivity troubleshooting.Work Environment

Onsite work at the customer's facility in Raleigh, NC. The role includes working alongside experienced engineers in an R&D environment. Benefits include 2 weeks PTO and holidays according to the customer's schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
