What you'll be doing:

Apply acquired engineering experience, training, and techniques to solve problems encountered in design, redesign, or troubleshooting.

May supervise and/or provide technical and safety guidance or direction to colleagues, technicians, designers, drafters, model makers, and others. May serve as project leader.

Meet with external customers and vendors to exchange information and assist with more difficult technical issues.

Participate in project planning and may advise portions of smaller projects or segments of large projects to include scheduling, supervising costs, resources, workforce load, etc.

Design and implementation of production fixtures/tools and inspection equipment as the need arises.

Capacity (equipment, labor, space) and maintenance planning and strategies.

Production efficiency, efficiency, downtime tracking and corrective actions.

Coordination of activities related to transfer of manufacturing to the new manufacturing site.

Cycle time estimation, tracking and development of production routers.

Development and maintenance of manufacturing process instructions (process sheets, MPS), routers and bill of materials.

Development and completion of process validation, while ensuring that changes made to specifications, methods, processes or procedures are verified or, where appropriate, validated in accordance with standard operating procedures and QSR item 820.75, prior to implementation.

Participates in CPE projects and in the validation and verification of products and processes in accordance with quality system procedures.

May lead or participate with management of organizational and group operations in CAPA activities by performing, determining and verifying corrective actions necessary to ensure continued compliance with division policy and procedures, federal regulations under Title 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485:2003.

Responsible for monitoring, identifying trends, investigating and resolving issues related to manufacturing processes.

What you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a related position. (Medical industry preferred)Bilingual: Oral and written communication in Intermediate English.Experience in problem solving, project management, lean practices, six sigma desirable, line transfers.Experience with ISO/FDA and GMP regulated environments.

Desirable Experience:Basic knowledge in design programs (Autocad, SolidWorks)Experience in validations (IQ/ OQ, PQ)... TMVBasic knowledge in Statistics (CPk, Histograms, PPk, etc.)
