Jr Process Engineer


Job Description:

Provides support to the manufacturing area by providing technical information and the necessary means to make the production process more efficient.

Job Requirements:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Generates preventive maintenance orders.Captures information from preventive and corrective maintenance orders.Archives general maintenance orders.Conducts inventory of machinery and equipment.Collects necessary information for the creation of production plans.Creates production plans.Standardizes specifications in production plans.Standardizes tools and work routes.Captures purchase orders from the Oracle system to the USA.Conducts periodic reviews for purchase order authorization.Collects information to register suppliers in the Oracle system.Performs continuous improvement analysis.Develops and follows up on projects.

Education/Experience/Requirements:

Preferred professional: Mechanical, Mechatronics, and/or Industrial Engineer.At least basic knowledge of process improvement and route changes.Basic knowledge of metal mechanical processes.Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.At least 2 years of experience in lean manufacturing environments.English (85%).

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in SIX-SIGMA.Software skills: Cad Key, Solid Works.Experience in fixture design.
