Job Overview:

This role will operate within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) Team under Sourcing and Contract Management and partner closely with key stakeholders to support projects, as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Sourcing managers to meet company objectives as you produce, implement, and support sourcing strategies that ensure best valueManage and prioritize the project stream, working with internal stakeholders to determine project definition and business requirementsManage and monitor supplier performance using meaningful and objective KPI measurements and periodic business reviewsVerify and maintain accurate supplier data, including tax and bank information, quotations, and legal agreementsReconcile outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies through proactive customer/stakeholder engagementAssist competitive bidding using a multi-step sourcing process and utilization of RFx.Support Procurement / Contracts Projects as required.

Education and Experience:       

Currently enrolled in a BS/MS in Procurement/Business Administration or equivalentGeneral understanding of procurement, supplier chain, and supplier managementGood working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with eProcurement technologies a plus (i.e., Coupa, Ariba, Oracle)Facilitation skills to collaborate with stakeholders and within Global Strategic SourcingGood teamwork and influencing skillsCan commit to at least a 12-week internshipAbility to relocate to the Bay Area, California, for the duration of the internship
