Job Description An employer in Biloxi, MS is looking for a Jr. Architect to join their team in support of a federal contract they have over the next 7 years. In this role you will be responsible for: * Performs the design and development of the construction drawings and develops specifications for architectural and/or structural engineering systems such as construction and rehabilitation of existing structures. * Evaluates projects to determine the most appropriate and economical systems to serve a facility. * Prepares original design and preliminary and final layout of civil/structural projects, including size, capacity, and economy. * Participates in final on-site inspection. * Performs contract related services such as writing scope of work, site surveys, contractor selection, negotiations, construction performance monitoring, product design, design review of internal and external A/E designs, and evaluation, inspection, and acceptance of bids. * Prepares detailed independent government estimates We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
