Jr. Chemist ( Power BI Developer - Digitalization )

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Research and apply new digital technology concepts that can add value to architectural coatings testing and/or formulation protocols. Interact with members from different Research & Development teams to help transform their complex data into more understandable visuals and/or dashboards. Assist the Digitalization team in applying machine learning and artificial intelligence tools to build, test, and validate predictive models. Ability to effectively communicate technical results and project updates via oral presentations and written reports. Assist with Formula Management related tasks, including formula uploads to SAP, raw material property and cost updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B. Tech/B.E. in Business Analytics / B. Tech/B.E. in Computer Engineering / B. Tech/B.E. in Data Science & Analytics /Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A)

EXPERIENCE: Experience of 1 to 2 years is desirable in following domain.

Dashboard development in Microsoft Power-BI. Data analysis including data representation and reporting as well as trend identification.  Statistics and computational data analysis is desired with proficiency in Python or other scripting language. Machine learning or deep learning experience is also desired. Proficient in Microsoft Office services, including Excel, Flow, and Power-Apps.  knowledge in data engineering (data structure, data platforms, data pipelines) is preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational and analytical skills. Self-motivated creative problem solver.
