About the OpportunityDMI, LLC is seeking a Jr. Hardware Support Technician to join us.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in performing basic hardware maintenance and troubleshooting for government-owned and furnished equipment in compliance with CDC standards.Support staging, shipping, and installation logistics for warranty and non-warranty repair processes.Inspect and test repaired equipment to verify functionality before returning to service.Document hardware issues, repairs, and resolutions in ServiceNow, ensuring accurate tracking of assets.Provide basic packing and crating support for IT equipment shipped for vendor repairs.Coordinate with senior technicians and logistics teams to ensure secure shipping and handling of IT assets.Assist in hardware support for workstations, printers, and peripherals across various CDC locations.Follow CDC security protocols and report any hardware discrepancies, damages, or missing equipment.Maintain proper inventory records for repaired and replaced hardware component QualificationsEducation and Years of Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or other related field plus 0- 2 years of experience, orHigh School Diploma plus 6 - 8 years of experienceMin Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
