Jr. Service Desk Technician
**Overview** SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Technician to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. **Essential Job Duties** + Assists users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues. + Installs, upgrades, and maintains desktop and portable computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals. + Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems. + Enters and updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system; tracks trends andrecommends corrective actions; and ensures compliance with applicable security and property accountability requirements. + Interfaces with Network Operations team on integration issues and product research andinstallation testing. + Provides minor network cabling installations and modifications as required. + Other duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements** + Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation. + DoD 8570.01 IAT level I (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) compliant or higher. **Preferred Qualifications** + Active Public Trust clearance. **Work Environment** + Working conditions are normal for an office environment. + Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. + May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable) **Working at SOSi** All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
