Jr. ServiceNow Admin
Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To include, but not limited to the following: • Create and manage flows, business rules, UI policies, scripts, and other technical components on the platform. • Support out of the box ITSM applications and processes within ServiceNow including Incident, Change, Knowledge, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Employee Center • Develop existing and custom applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applications. • Create technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and training materials. • Collaborate with and coach subject matter experts in the testing of new and updated applications • Follow ServiceNow best practices (including scripting, security, implementation) • Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current and advise when improvements are deemed necessary • Work closely with the ServiceNow Platform Owner to align on work prioritization, communications, and overall application health • Lead and/or participate in the testing of patches and upgrades to the ServiceNow platform REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Advanced expertise in system design, requirements gathering, and scripting within the platform • Experience developing and troubleshooting business rules, flows, and scripts • ServiceNow Certified Admin • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture, with primary focus on ITSM module • Experience with source control (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) for managing ServiceNow applications and code, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines on the platform. • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with sensitivity to deadlines • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong teaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer skills • Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external business partners. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • 2+ years of ServiceNow Administration and Development • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Order Guides, Process Automation Designer, Automated Testing Framework, Test Management, and Configurable Workspaces • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer • 1+ year experience with relational databases • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and experience in ITSM tools. • Experience working in a SOX compliant environment with processes that support IT General Controls Skills ITSM, ServiceNow Top Skills Details ITSM,ServiceNow Additional Skills & Qualifications N/A Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
