Applied R&D (AR) consists of target-oriented research either with the goal of solving a particular problem / answering a specific question or for multi-discipline design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems including maintenance support. Supplies techno-economic consulting to clients. AR work is characterised by its detailed and complex nature in order to systematically combine existing knowledge and practices to further developing and incrementally improving products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development.

Subfamily Description

Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) comprises the integration of SW and / or HW or system components into system, platform, product releases, or networks and verifies the integrated entity or network against particular requirements and specifications. Covers setup and maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment, tools, and devices.

Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Responsible for contribution to teamwork. Errors may have impact on function/project/customer. Usually delivers results with a short-term, operational focus and limited impact on others. 

Scope & Contribution

You have

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering / computer engineering At least 1 years' experience with telecommunication testing At least 1 years' experience working with RF laboratory equipment Experience of reliability engineering test methods a definite plus Familiar with RF test equipment, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc

Knowledge & Experience

• As part of the team, you will:

Perform Reliability/DDTT/TCS/HWIF Testing as part of the product program and in accordance with the Nokia Global Reliability Guidelines and processes with R&D. Design and setup reliability/DDTT/TCS/HWIF test fixtures and test setups. Work alongside the design teams for test setup, unit operation and root cause failure analysis. Maintain daily logs and tracking of units/modules under test and to report to the reliability technical lead. Proactively troubleshoot issues with test setups or unit failures with the support of design teams / SW teams.  Write test specifications and test reports.  Support reliability test automation development.  Python experience a plus.  Run baseline testing using TGate and RF Test measurement equipment Support Pronto investigations as needed
