Rite-Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking skilled and motivated candidates for a Jr. to Mid Software Developer to support in a hybrid capacity out of our Middletown, RI office. Leveraging state of the art technologies, our team of developers works together to develop, sustain and maintain code across the full stack.\n
Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nWork in a team environment to understand, create, and modify applications using technologies such C++ (Linux), React, MariaDB, and Python. \nDesign, develop, evaluate, and test system\/software integration\nInterpret, assess, and support development and maintenance of requirements and software designs\nAbility to design and implement within a team environment\nCommunicate regularly with functional team leads to ensure effective work partnerships\n\n
Requirements:\n\nMinimum 2 years of Software Development experience\nBS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology field\n\n\nExperience with C++ (Linux), React, HTML, CSS, JSON\nSolid command of object-oriented software development and automated testing\nExperience with development under Linux-based systems\nFamiliar with common IDE's such as Eclipse and VS Code, and tools such as Bamboo, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket\nExperienced with relational databases such as MySQL\/MariaDB.\nStrong problem solving, automated testing, and debugging capabilities\nEffective written and verbal skills\nAble to work and thrive in both individual and team-based development environments\nPosition requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD secret-level security clearance\n\n
Additional Skills of interest (Not Required):\n\nExperience in developing containerized, microservice architectures\nLinux system administration as part of software development\nFamiliar with agile and\/or traditional software development life cycle (SDLC) approaches\n\n
