Jr. Web Content Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Web Content Specialist to join our marketing team! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong writing and organizational skills who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will support the team in maintaining website content, coordinating content updates, and learning how to apply creative solutions to help meet business goals.

This role is ideal if you enjoy: 

Gaining hands-on experience with various aspects of web content management, including copy editing, SEO, UX, and project coordination. Assisting with organizing, updating, and publishing website content regularly. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and content experts to keep the website fresh and engaging. 

As a side benefit of the key responsibilities of the job, you’ll get exposure to a lot of other disciplines while working on a variety of project tasks. You can learn more about website development best practices, marketing operations, content strategy, analytics and reporting, conversion optimization, digital design, paid media and more. 

Key responsibilities: 

Assist with managing the content publishing process, including quality assurance and scheduling updatesSupport the daily queue of requests for website changes and updatesWork closely with marketing teams, designers, and subject matter experts to ensure website content is correct and relevantPerform updates and edits to the website both small and largeHelp maintain promotional calendars and assist with organizing website content updatesLearn best practices for web content and information architecture to help improve user experienceCollaborate with third-party vendors and ensure content qualityAssist with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Needed skills: 

0-2 years of experience managing content on a website (internship portfolios, personal web projects, or freelance work examples are ideal for this entry-level position)Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.Some familiarity using a content management system (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)Some knowledge of basic HTMLStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasksGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsA proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to new challenges and tasks

Nice-to-have skills:

Experience using tools like Google Analytics or Search Console. Experience with applying SEO best practices to web content. Experience using design tools (Figma, AdobeXD, or similar).
