Purpose of the Role:

The Jr. Manager Wholesale Activation role at adidas is pivotal in developing and implementing a Wholesale (WHS) Activation Marketing plan to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and boost sales across key WHS accounts. Aligning with global and local strategies to optimize offline and online presence, ensuring consumer engagement and conversion.

 

What you will do:

Prepare and execute plans to secure prime in-store space for adidas, showcase key concepts in the best locations, and strengthen adidas’ position as the top brand in multi-brand Wholesale stores. Execute seasonal trade marketing plans for Key Accounts, ensuring alignment with brand and product priorities. Integrate digital channels like Wholesale websites, social media, and newsletters while connecting online and offline initiatives for a seamless experience. Work closely with the Digital Partners Commerce (DPC) team and Performance Marketing Expert to create a holistic seasonal digital activation calendar, including performance and brand campaigns. Coordinate with Trade, Retail, and Brand Marketing to ensure a consistent adidas image across WHS stores and online platforms, driving both offline and online sell-through. Ensure strong customer relationships by collaborating with account marketing teams to secure approvals and meet needs. Maintain adidas brand consistency across communications, aligning with guidelines and creative platforms. Manage agency briefs for trade tools and media plans, ensuring compliance with Brand Communication and internal procedures. Execute in-store space management initiatives in coordination with Visual Merchandising, alongside event solutions to enhance consumer engagement. Advise on digital strategies to drive in-store traffic and align closely with Key Accounts sales teams. Monitor marketplace and trade activities (online & offline), evaluating campaign performance, creating report analysis of results against set KPIs. Plan and manage assigned budgets, ensuring adherence to internal procedures. Analyze the Key Accounts retail landscape, including share of buy, competitor strategies and consumer behavior. Engage with Customers Teams during Sell-in to present adidas marketing plans, negotiate support for key concepts, and align on timelines and budgets.

 

Skills you will need:

University Degree preferrably Marketing-related fields 1-3 years working experience ideally in marketing department Experience in working in an international context and interacting with Global HQs High level of project management, organizational, and negotiation skills Knowledge of SEO, Display Marketing, Paid Search campaign management Ability to manage or collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary groups Fluent English & local language (written and spoken) Excellent presentation skills Advanced skills at MS office Passion for sport, fashion and new trends in consumer behavior and evolution of retail
