**JTAC Instructor**
_Contingent Upon Contract Award_
OTA is seeking JTAC Instructors to deliver tailored instruction across diverse scenarios to ensure mission critical preparedness for SOF JTACs.. Our JTAC Instructors are the cornerstone of comprehensive training delivery, supporting all phases, including Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), Continuation Training (CT), Requalification Training (RQ), and instructor and evaluator upgrade programs. With a proven track record of operational excellence, they ensure that all training is conducted in compliance with standard operating procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide JTAC instruction from IQT, MQT, CT, RQ and upgrade training to JTAC instructor and evaluator, simulator training, mission duties for range operations
+ Maintain JTAC and JTAC-I qualifications in accordance with JFS ESC AP MOA 2004-01, USSOCOM M350-5, AFSOCI 13-50, and Wing, Group, or unit guidance
+ If re-qualified or upgraded as a JTAC-E, contractors will conduct initial, recurring, Spot, no notice, and Evaluator evaluations on JTACs in accordance with USSOCOM, AFSOC, Wing, Group, and unit guidance
+ Receive initial and recurring JTAC evaluations from unit JTAC-E PM or designated JTAC-E and approved in writing by their applicable unit commander
+ Assist in establishing and maintaining the unit JTAC academics, SOF JTAC Records Management System (SRMS), and programs in accordance with JFS ESC AP MOA 2004-01, USSOCOM M350-5, AFSOCI 13-50, and Wing, Group, or unit guidance
+ Provide instruction to JTAC trainees, JTACs, JTAC-Is, and JTAC-Es in both live and Live Virtual Constructed (LVC) environments, IAW Joint Publications, Air Force, USSOCOM, AFSOC, Wing, Group, and unit guidance
**Qualifications**
+ Secret security clearance
+ Previous experience as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller Instructor (JTAC-I) and/or Evaluator (JTAC-E) within the special operations community is highly preferred
+ Must have minimum of 3 years of experience as a certified JTAC-I and be a current JTAC-E or eligible for JTAC-E upgrade.
+ Operational JTAC deployment experience within the past 7 years **_or_** have been actively involved in administrative JTAC-I training responsibilities at a Joint Fires School–Enterprise Standardized Curriculum (JFS-ESC) accredited course or operational unit.
+ JTAC/JTAC-I certification must be current or have been held within the past two (2) years
+ Prior SOF JTAC-I or JTAC-E qualifications
+ Acceptable documentation includes: JTAC Evaluation Folder with Close Air Support (CAS) qualification records from the past 24 months
+ SOF JTAC Certification of Evaluation
+ Certificate of Aircrew Qualification
+ Terminal Attack Control Evaluation and Certification
+ Equivalent JTAC evaluation documentation from other military services
