Judo Coach, Club Sport

Job Summary

The Judo Coach, Club Sports will teach, coach, train and motivate student athletes on an individual and group basis. This position will work on-campus on an hourly basis. The Coach will help develop and support the Club Judo program and work with students of different levels of expertise.

Essential Functions

Teach, coach, train and motivate student-athletes to perform at the highest level through organized team. Prepare and organize training sessions to enhance team performance. Foster an environment within the (Club Sport) program that supports the department mission of personal growth and integrity, diversity, leadership, sportsmanship, and a commitment to athletic and academic excellence. Represent the team with discussions, and affiliations with exterior Judo national, and regional organizations. Teach techniques, guide athletes, and develop a suitable program for each group and level of player. Ensure that the program complies with all University, Club Sport, Governing Body and Recreational Athletics rules and regulations Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Additional Information

This is a Part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
