We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting Team to support our growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to have a critical voice in an organization that is scaling for the future. In this role, you’ll be a key member of the team working in a wide range of GL functions. The successful candidate will have a "roll-up-the-sleeves'' attitude, be able to multitask and be willing to learn and thrive in a very fast-paced startup environment.Key Responsibilities:

Involved in the month-end and quarter-end process for our global close process by performing accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, in compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and SOX.

Work cross-functionally and across geo/international locations for close process, accuracy, and timing.

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce the time to close and improve the accuracy of underlying accounting records.

Partner with cross-functional teams regularly to identify areas for improvement and solve problems.

Lead accounting projects involving process improvement and system automation, etc.

Build and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners to proactively identify, research, and resolve issues.

Support the preparation of PBCs and support for annual audits and quarterly reviews by the external auditors.

Assist in ad hoc analysis and projects as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA desired.

2+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in public accounting is preferred.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from quantitative and qualitative data.

Impeccable attention to detail.

Ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment; demonstrates a sense of urgency and should be results-driven.

Ability to challenge the status quo to build gain efficiencies and improve outcomes.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.

Great team player.

Experience working with NetSuite preferred.

Advanced Excel skills are required.
