Junior Accountant

If you are attracted by the environment of an international company, but you prefer to develop your knowledge within local (statutory) accounting, then this position might suit you. You will be looking forward to a small and friendly team of accountants, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief accountant and the controlling department. As our team consists of five people, there will still be an opportunity to learn from more experienced colleagues, expand our horizons in the tax and accounting spheres, and develop their careers vertically and horizontally.
 

Job Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounting entries in compliance with internal accounting procedures / with Slovak legislation requirements for the area of responsibilityEnsure accounting in compliance with internal/external regulations.Execute monthly/yearly closing procedures (bookings, reconciliations)Review and approval of employee’s reimbursements, company credit card managementSupport to employees regarding travel and expense questionsAsset management – asset additions and disposal, asset register maintenanceAccounts receivables process - issuing invoices, communication with intercompany customersCooperate within Finance with controlling and procurement. Cooperates with all the ING Hubs departments regarding the mentioned scope of responsibilityParticipation on internal accounting procedures updatesIn addition to the above-mentioned tasks other accounting activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

Personality requirements and skills

1+ years experience in accounting is highly required

University degree in Economy or high school degree with a focus on economicsProcess-oriented and analyticalAbility and willingness to learn new thingsQuick learner Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside and outside the companyQuick learner

Wage (gross)1 488 EUR/month

Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
