Job Description:
DXC Technology in Prague is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support the R2R department in a variety of tasks like journal entries preparation, account reconciliations, reporting, and assisting with accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in finance and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing account reconciliation and journal entries
Help with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Support the team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Work with accounting software to manage and track financial data.
Support audits and ensure timely submission of financial documentation.
Provide general support to senior finance analysts and other departments as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 1-year previous internship or practical experience working with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and accounting software.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Location: Prague (Pancrac area) – hybrid mode
