Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in invoice processing, data entry, and vendor correspondence. This position offers a family-friendly environment with great benefits and opportunities for growth.

ResponsibilitiesReview and verify invoices and check requestsSort and match invoices and check requestsSet up invoices for paymentProcess check requestsCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiriesProduce monthly reportsAssist in month-end closingMaintain vendor filesAssist with three check runs per monthHandle a high volume of invoices (approximately 1,000 per month)Essential Skills1-5 years of Accounts Payable experienceProficiency in data entry and invoice processingStrong organizational skillsTyping skills (minimum 40 words per minute)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and OutlookExperience with Sage 300 Construction and Real EstateAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with TimberScan (preferred, but training will be provided)Basic knowledge of SmartsheetTeam player with a growth mindsetAbility to take initiative and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCapacity and willingness to continuously learn and improveWork Environment

This role is fully in-office in Frederick, MD, with work hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Our small, tight-knit team consists of 4-5 members in the accounting department. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $28.85
