Overview:

ISS STOXX Market Intelligence Matrix team is looking for a keen and analytically minded individual to join our growing Data organization. Ideal candidates should have a high level of independent judgment, an incredible attention to detail and the ability to thrive in both a team setting and independently.

The position will support the UK based Data Ops and Research team gathering intelligence on companies involved in the financial services markets as well as operationally supporting all business as usual (BAU) Products & Services.  This includes ensuring submitted data is collected on time, data is correctly loaded, tracking and monitoring of each release, data outputs are delivered in a secure manner and queries handled in a professional and timely manner.

BAU Products & Services are defined as Financial Clarity (Dashboards & Data Feeds), Mortgage Clarity, Matrix Financial Intermediary Database (MFID), and Single Intermediary Views (SIVs).

Responsibilities

To gather and update information and undertake research on organizations involved in the Financial Services industry using web-based resources, telephone research, and other techniques where applicableTo accurately and efficiently enter the information gathered into a research databaseTo be involved in quality checking and administrative processes helping to ensure the quality and accuracy of the research databaseSupporting the on time & accurate delivery BAU products by collecting data on time and ensuring tracking systems are up to dateTesting outputs for quality standards as required.Adhering to BAU release processesCommunicating progress, issues and risks relating to releases in a timely and relevant mannerManaging deadlines and escalating issues from each stage of the release process To support and be involved in all other areas undertaken within the data ops team as required by the management team.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree – preferably in business, finance, economics, or other business/data related fieldKnowledge of the financial sector desirableStrong research and analytical skillsAble to attend internal/client queries & requestsCompetence with the InternetData entry and computer keyboard skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsGood numeracy & excellent attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Good problem-solving capabilityAbility to prioritize multiple tasksSelf-motivated with an interest to pick up new skillsAbility to work cooperatively in a team environment with all levels of profession

​Work Location and Schedule

 Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent dayshift schedule (11am – 8pm, Manila Time) Amenable to undergo 3-6 months onsite training (12pm-9pm) prior to transitioning to hybrid working arrangement. Hybrid working arrangement (at least 3 days’ work onsite per week)
