Junior AV/Tech Support
**Junior AV/Tech Support** **Location:** Downtown Toronto (On-Site) **Client:** Higher Education Institution **Duration:** 6 Months (Contract) – Could extend or be contract to hire **Description** We’re seeking multiple tech-savvy Junior Consultants with a background or interest in Audio Visual (AV) technology to support a busy campus environment in downtown Toronto. This is a contract role supporting the increased use of college meeting spaces for trade shows, association meetings, and internal events. You’ll be the go-to person to ensure meeting rooms are ready, tech is working, and everything runs smoothly for incoming groups and trade shows. **Responsibilities:** + Prepare and support college meeting rooms and AV setups for events and meetings + Monitor and manage room booking calendars, ensuring accuracy and availability + Perform light technical troubleshooting on AV systems before events begin + Act as first-line support for event organizers and guests during setup and operation + Ensure AV equipment (projectors, mics, displays, etc.) is functioning and ready + Coordinate with internal IT and facilities teams if escalations are required + Provide friendly, helpful service to college staff, guests, and visiting organizations **Requirements:** + 1–2 years of experience in AV support, help desk, or tech operations (internships/co-ops count!) + Comfortable working with AV technology (projectors, TVs, video conferencing, etc.) + Familiarity with calendar systems (e.g., Outlook, Google Calendar, or booking tools) + Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’ll work with a variety of stakeholders + Quick to troubleshoot, solve minor issues, and know when to escalate + Able to work independently, stay organized, and be proactive **Schedule & Work Conditions:** + Full-time hours (on-site, weekday availability required) + Some flexibility may be needed around peak events + Business casual environment, collaborative team **About CTG** CTG, a Cegeka company, is at the forefront of digital transformation, providing IT and business solutions that accelerate project momentum and deliver desired value.
