Robert Half is collaborating with a prestigious law firm to find a Junior Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced, highly professional environment. Key Responsibilities:
+ Reviewing procurement requests and placing purchase orders for office supplies, technology equipment, legal resources, and other goods or services.
+ Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to maximize cost efficiency while ensuring quality.
+ Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating replenishment to maintain optimal stock for office operations.
+ Collaborating with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.
+ Maintaining vendor relationships, managing vendor databases, and resolving any performance issues or disputes that may arise.
+ Ensuring adherence to the firm’s procurement policies and conducting research to expand the supplier base as needed.
+ Supporting budgeting and cost-control efforts by providing detailed purchasing reports and analysis.
Requirements
+ Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
+ 1–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
+ Previous exposure to working within a law firm or legal industry is a plus but not required.
+ Familiarity with procurement or ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Coupa).
+ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
+ Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
+ A strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
+ Any certifications in procurement (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM) are a bonus but not required.
